Cancellation and refunds

What happens when you cancel a membership, when money comes back, and how to ask.

Last updated 12 August 2026

Where this stands today

There is no online payment on this site yet. Nobody has been charged, and memberships are currently granted by the owner by hand.

This is the policy that applies from the moment paid memberships open. It is published now so that it can be read before anyone pays, not after.

§1What a membership is

A membership is access to members-only content on this site for a set period. It is a digital service: access begins as soon as the payment succeeds, and there is nothing to ship or return.

Plan and price
[OWNER: plan name, price in INR, and billing cycle]
Currency
Indian Rupees. Any conversion charge or foreign-transaction fee your bank adds is between you and your bank.
Payment
Payments are planned to be handled by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the gateway's systems and are never stored on this site.

§2Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time. No notice period, no cancellation fee.
  • Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut off access immediately — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Cancelling on its own is not a refund request. If you also want money back, ask for it as described below.

§3When a refund is given

  • Within [OWNER: refund window, e.g. seven days from payment] of a payment, if you are not happy with the membership. Ask and the payment is refunded.
  • Whenever you have been charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling. That is refunded in full regardless of any window.
  • Whenever a payment succeeded but access was never granted, and it could not be fixed.
  • Whenever the owner ends your membership for a reason that is not a breach of the terms of use. The unused part of the period is refunded.

§4When a refund is not given

  • After the window above has passed, for a period you have used. Cancel instead and you will not be charged again.
  • Where access has been shared, resold, or published elsewhere, in breach of the terms of use.
  • Because the content did not produce a financial result. Nothing here is advice for your situation and no outcome is promised.

§5How to ask for a refund

Write to [OWNER: contact email address] from the email address on your account, with:

  • the date and amount of the payment;
  • the payment or order reference from your receipt;
  • one line on what went wrong.

You will get a reply within [OWNER: how quickly you reply, e.g. two working days], telling you whether the refund is approved and, if it is not, why.

§6How the money comes back

An approved refund goes back to the same card, UPI ID or bank account the payment came from. It cannot be sent anywhere else, and it is not issued as credit unless you ask for that instead.

Refunds are usually initiated within [OWNER: how long an approved refund takes to reach the member, e.g. five to seven working days]. How long it then takes to appear on your statement is set by the payment gateway and your bank, not by this site.

§7Failed payments and chargebacks

If a payment fails, no membership starts and any amount your bank has held is released by the bank, typically within a few working days.

If something looks wrong on your statement, email first. A chargeback raised without contact takes weeks and freezes the account while it is investigated; an email is almost always faster.

§8Contact

Anything about a payment, a cancellation or a refund goes to [OWNER: contact email address].
