Asset pehle

Pick the yearly income you want an asset to pay you, and see how big that asset has to be on three different routes, and how long your own monthly investment takes to build it. What you type stays in your browser unless you ask for it to be kept.

Step 1 of 5 — Before you start

How big does an asset have to be before it pays you a year of income?

The order most households learn late is this one: the asset comes first, and what it pays comes out of it. This page takes a yearly income you pick and works backwards to the size the asset would have to be, on three different routes, because the route changes the answer by several times over.

It is arithmetic on figures you type. Every projection on it is an illustration of one assumption, not a forecast and not a promise that anything will pay anything. No fund, no particular REIT and no scheme is named anywhere, and there is nothing here to buy.

Everything you type is worked out in this browser, and none of it goes anywhere unless you ask for it to be kept. The headline is free for everyone, with or without an account.
